Music Has Always Been About More Than the Performance.

Julissa is a professional violinist and vocalist with over 20 years of experience performing for audiences across the globe.

​

Originally from Tucson Arizona, Julissa began playing violin at a young age and grew up performing in elite mariachi programs from elementary school through adulthood. Her passion for music and education later led her to build her own violin school and co-create the first cultural music program in Sahuarita, AZ.

In 2022, Julissa made the move to Los Angeles to pursue music full-time, performing with the Multi-Grammy Award-winning Mariachi Divas on prestigious stages across the nation. Her career has included performing in Disney California Adventure’s Coco celebration and appearing on stages alongside internationally recognized artists including Becky G, Bad Bunny, Lady Gaga, Ana Gabriel, Marco Antonio Solís, and Pepe Aguilar.

Today, Julissa’s passion is creating thoughtfully curated musical experiences for weddings and special events throughout Southern California and beyond. Her repertoire brings together cultures and generations, from romantic classics and modern pop to Latin favorites, mariachi, Disney, country, and Christian music.

She especially loves helping multicultural couples incorporate music that represents both sides of their families, creating a soundtrack that feels personal, meaningful, and uniquely theirs.
